January 17th was our first day of snow here in China!! It snowed heavily over night and in the morning, everything was white!!

We all went for a walk arounf the lake to admire the white scenery. This is Duncan, he looks very happy because his shoes were water proof, however, mine were not. This provided me with a great excuse that not even Jake could foil to buy yet another pair of shoes, great!
Jake in his new fluffy hat, ah cute. All the kids at school were having snowball fights, we were crafty and sneaked rounf the back to hit them from behind. What mature role models these kids have to follow, hehe!

Hope everyone is OK. Miss you all lots.
Jake and I are off to Shanghai on Monday for about 10 days or so. Thus there will be no blog for a while. I will write everything up when we get back!
Lots of Love

Sorry it has been so long since my last update, haven't been doing any new stuff really. But I have now finished the term, and thought I would take a few pics of my kids.
Here is me with my cool kids from the loudest class ever! They are great, always have loads of energy and make a fun lesson.
This is a wierd park that Jake and I stumbled upon. Last weekend, we decided to walk around most of Changsha, its amazing what you miss by taking a taxi. We walked for hours and discovered some interesting places.
This is my Junior 1 Class 5, the loud class. I love them all! They are only 12 years old, but really cool!
Ah, a nice pic of Jake and I after walking in the freezing cold for hours. Jake looks drunk, but is infact full from one of the largest bags of popcorn I have ever seen! Do I look any different? I don't think so!.

Hope everyone is well back in England, the weather is cold and miserable here now, so we feel right at home! However, we dont really have good heating in our appartments, which makes it very chilly!! I have finally sorted out my kitchen, so Jake and I, (well, Jake cooking and me "supervising"), will start learning how to cook Chinese food! Should be fun!

Off to Shanghai in a week, so will be lots to report when I get back!

Miss you all

The school organised a meal for Christmas at the posh hotel restaurant. It was nice to have some hot sunny days again.

This is Steve in the Kareoke room on New years Eve, what a poser! But he was actually really good at singing, so I can't diss him.
Us guys on New Year, ah, I'm so white!
Bowling, Ducan the bowling king joins the RSPCS, pretection against cruelty for skittles, as he leaves them all standing. This was a regular occurance for me.
The bowling boys. Big Lebowski?
