Its been a crazy weekend, Jonny (a friend from York uni) and Andy came to visit us in Changsha. They are half way through travelling around the world and had some great stories...apparently Changsha doesnt have the worst toilets. Mongolia has a trench with wooden planks...nice!

Also, it was Shawn's last weekend, before he went back to Canada and Marianna's last weekend before she goes back up to the North of China. So, lots of going out, eating and having fun.

Only 3 weeks left of teaching, THANK GOD, then, never again. OK, its not that bad, but I know why teachers have long holidays!

On the shopping front, have bought even more shoes. Will have to stop this as space in the case is limited!

On the weekend we made a visit to Subway, yes, Changsha has a subway! It was great to get some nice bread!!

As you can see, Jake and Shawn loved their foot long sandwich. We then did hours of shopping and Jake got 7 t-shirts, and he says I have a shopping problem!

(Yes, I did buy 4 pais of shoes, 6 tops, trousers and a dress, whats your point?)
We then

went to watch a football match, Changsha against Shanghai. It was great fun, but the football was pretty boring! It ended in a 1 all draw. The crowd was goods fun with drums and everything, but it was a very hot night and I was paranoid I was getting eaten by mosquitoes!
